Description: Environmental damage indicated for the New Jersey seems a bit oppressive given that this type is virtually always found microporous, and this example actually retains its brass splash. One Fugio (STATES UNITED / 8 pointed star) has been graded F-15 by NGC and it features a little more than half the Roman numerals. The second Fugio (UNITED STATES / pointed rays) yielded NGC's assessment of VF/cleaned, but features decent surfaces and fully two-thirds of the Roman numerals, yet also several planchet fissures. NGC only within this three coin lot.
