Description: AU-58 is the grade everyone seems to want for 1934-S, and it's difficult to locate a properly graded specimen at the "slider" level. A whisper of friction shows on the cheek, flowing down and right as the coin is brought into the light, while the reverse has only the slightest touch of wear on the eagle's head. Fully lustrous, especially through the fields, the preservation is so close to mint-state that one can easily appreciate the rather pleasing level of production quality that this key issue enjoys. A shoe-in even for a better mint-state collection.
