Description: Bert Davies Collection. Preeminent among all Morgan dollars, acquisition of the 1893-S often represents the culmination of a collector's efforts, and many will seek out the maximum amount of definition possible for a given price level. Much detail remains for this mid-grade example, albeit slightly subdued by the stark eggshell-white aspect. A nick rests forward on Liberty's cheek near the corner of her mouth, and a similar tick on the reverse rests just beside the eagle's left (observed) wing. Significant luster bravely shimmers in the fields, particularly on the reverse.
