Description: Bert Davies Collection. Bass-Dannreuther-7. The obverse has an unmistakable large 8 repunched over a small 8. On the reverse, the upright of "E" is centered over a space between clouds. Given NGC's assessment of "AU details", only minimal luster will be found on either side. This is due in part to myriad tiny contact ticks, but the surface has also become strongly hairlined from cleaning. A few adjustment marks are noted.
