Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1873-CC Arrows, as described
Lot Number: 794
Description: The No Land Consignment. Mintage: 214,560. Small mintmark. Even, consistent lavender-grey toning enriches the stately eye-appeal that emanates only from larger coins, such as the Seated Liberty half-dollar. Fewer than a handful of smaller, dark raised areas on the obverse appear to be remnants of old glue residue that has long since been worn away, while the reverse retains a completely unblemished appearance. This is an issue that frequently appears in severely worn condition, or better middle grades as presented here, since mint-state examples are very rare.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
