Description: Forest Park Collection II. One might argue that the inner shield lacks precision for this opulent gem, but looking at the rest of the coin immediately dissuades all further arguments since this is an unusually well struck example, even for the relatively common 1924. The rivets are exceptionally sharp, and unlike many dull competitors, this coin seems to have been struck off of freshened dies, showing beautiful satin luster, albeit balanced against a slightly weak date (perhaps weakened by polishing).
