Description: Paddle Battle Collection. Noticeable effort. This very interesting thirty five coin lot screams effort and attention to detail. Not a traditional Mercury Dime short set because this particular collection spans all the way back to 1934 and is full of Brilliant Uncirculated examples. The only exception is the readily available 1942 issue which appears to have been mildly cleaned at some point in the past. Wonderfully white surfaces embrace every tenant of this Capital plastics collection with just a few hints of peripheral bronze toning noticed. This is certainly a collection that needs to be viewed to be fully appreciated as some of the scarcer 1930’s mint-marked isssues could fetch some pretty lofty grades (ck)!
