Description: Paralleling the obverse left rim is a nicely arcing rainbow accent that incorporates denim-blue and chartreuse tones, with some additional ruby hues, while the reverse tends toward stone-grey coloration. Needless to say, this appears to be an amazingly original example. Given the excellent sharpness, the coin may have been struck off of early dies, since many seen have various die-cracks, probably due to the mint's experiments with striking pressure during the early days of steam-powered, collared-die production.
