Description: There could be no better opportunity for implementation of the sometimes overused AU-58 grade, as this is a coin that truly looks on-par with competing pieces graded MS-62. It is a dead ringer for mint-state, except for minute, twin contact points on the edge of the lapel, and three tiny contact points on the shoulder, all created by extremely brief exposure to circulation. Traces of very pale beige-orange luster glimmers from beneath the beautiful olive-brown toning. Hands-down, a perfect application of the "slider" grade.
