Diatom Collection. 1901 is one of the classic grade-rarities in the series and distinguishing between the AU-55 sharpness level seen here and the UNC level is most important, particularly for such a bright and somewhat lustrous example. Definite circulation marks affect the cheek and some friction shows in the obverse left field, although the reverse appears to be essentially mint-state (albeit very bright).
