Description: Bert Davies Collection. Psychedelic colors assimilate in an audacious pattern over the obverse right side, as a huge, chunky crescent of magenta-blue and emerald yields to a central, pyramidal pattern of bright grass-yellow and amber-orange. Technical aspirations include only an average strike (for 1884-O) and very good luster, but nobody will mind a few of the expected light abrasions, because all attention will be drawn to the mind-expanding eye-appeal of those marvelous obverse colors.
