Description: Strongberg Consignment. Devastating eye-appeal is the inevitable result of the vivid emerald-green, cobalt and magenta-grey that intermingle over the obverse, very obviously the characteristic effect of long-term Treasury bag storage, and not roll storage, since the reverse is greyish-white, not truly untoned as would be the case for a roll-stored example. Slightly mottled greyish accents splatter much of the obverse and might be the result of textile toning, although the pattern doesn't seem quite as regular as expected. Adequately struck with only minor roller marks remaining at the central areas, this is about as "gem" as a silver dollar gets when it flourishes toning as nice as this.
