Description: It defies logic and plain common sense to think that any high-relief twenties actually circulated, since they were already commanding a collector's premium right after they were released to the general public. Many were used as pocket pieces, and the significantly glossy and delicately hairlined nature of the present example suggest just such usage, as a prior owner may have treasured and handled the coin on a regular basis. Brassy citrus-gold lays over the highpoints, accenting the predominantly mustard-yellow surface, and some inevitable light bruising of the rims must be noted.
