Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1906-D and 1915-D, both PCGS MS-62
Lot Number: 953
Description: Nearly choice examples constitute this pairing of PCGS-certified Barber half-dollars. Champagne toning envelopes the 1906-D and the cheek shows evidence of several slide marks, but the luster flashes impressively, greatly exceeding expectations of MS-62. The luster for 1915-D seems a touch less robust, but this may be due in part to somewhat dense platinum-grey patina that endows nearly the entire coin, yet fails to fully disguise noticeable slide-marks on the cheek. Denver only within this two coin lot.
