Description: 65 in MS-62 and 155 higher at PCGS. Swirling cartwheel luster backlights the colorful original crust that covers both sides of this MS-62 Small Date, Small Letters 1834 half-dollar. Deep green-blue toning at the edge of the coin gives way to a rainbow of different colors scattered across the Mint State surface. The eagle on the reverse is particularly impressive with a great strike and ample mint frost. A wholesome and original example for the type with great eye appeal (ls).
