Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1926 PCGS MS-66 CACCAC
Lot Number: 783
Description: 467 graded MS-66, 93 higher at PCGS. Nearly as common as ants at a picnic, the 1926 has a mintage close to 45-million pieces, but the certified population dwindles rapidly above the Gem level. An interesting, thin die-crack snakes off to the obverse left on this piece. Extraordinary luster (for the type) gleams from beneath a pleasing layer of ultraviolet patina, with the reverse displaying additional chartreuse-pink accents. One noticeable carbon fleck joins a handful of micro-dots on the reverse, but really don't distract at all from the terrific visual appeal. Think of them as pesky ants!
