Description: Official mintage: 1100. Collector appeal: "A". Superbly preserved and appreciated by the consignor, the coins remain within their capsules, presentation box and outer cardboard sleeve, and include the original COA. Actual mintage for most coins within the unicorn series fell far short of official figures due to limited demand, and that poor demand in turn was due to the high premium demanded by the mint at the time of sale. None were struck after 1997, and the series today draws far more popular acclaim than it did twenty years ago. Two coin lot.
