Description: Sheldon-72 has "17" in the date very close to the rim, while "94" progressively elevate slightly. On the reverse, a curving die crack trails upward and right from the bottom of "D". Multiple distractions affect this onyx-brown example, including a few scratches, particularly on the reverse, as well as obvious surface roughness issues. PCGS has chosen to sweep up all these negatives into a simple "environmental damage" disclosure, yet at arm's length, the visual presence is surprisingly acceptable, if dark.
