Description:	The T-Rex Collection. Collector appeal: "better than expected". 1879-CC, 1889-CC, 1889-S, and of course, 1893-S are all absent, which is very typical of such collections. 1888-S (AG-3) is a curiously low-grade example, and 1881-CC (Fine), 1885-CC (VG/corroded), 1891-O (VG), and 1893 (VG) warrant upgrade, but the result of such effort would be an outstanding collection in Volume 1, comprised of mostly lustrous silver dollars that generally fall above the "extremely fine" grade level, aside from a few upper "very-fine" pieces. Volume 2 lacks 1895, 1897, and 1902-S within the Morgan dollar series, and here, this would be a pleasing VF/XF (on average) collection after upgrading filling those slots and upgrading 1896-O (Fine), 1897-O (Fine) 1901 (Fine), and a few other examples. Peace dollars accompany, lacking 1926-D, 1927-D, 1927-S, 1928, 1934, 1934-S, and 1935, while 1921 should grade VF. Throughout both albums, there are a very few common mint-state pieces, but it is quite apparent that the consignor strayed carefully away from expensive coins overall, and in almost every case, managed to acquire problem-free, original examples.
