Description: 42 graded MS-65+, 38 higher at PCGS. VAM-2 is not a "spitting eagle" variety, therefore attribution relies upon noting the position of "1" in the date, and the presence of a few light die lines as described in the VAM reference. Prepare to go buggy-eyed. Technically, the surface displays a few scattered abrasions, including a couple on the cheek, but the resplendent patination tends to suppress potential distraction from abrasions. Beautiful ruby-gold, vanilla and violet colors are bounded by ocean-blue, lime and forest-green iridescence to create a display of inimitable quality. A decently struck example.
