Description: Collectors know that the 1889-CC Morgan dollar is the key date Carson City coin for the entire series making it instantly desirable in all grades. Approximately 25,000 of the initial mintage of 350,000 1889-CC dollars are estimated to have survived in all grades. The current example in VF-30 shows strong design detail and has minimal abrasions for the grade. Light silver color suggests an old cleaning that has since started to re-tone but is perfectly market acceptable. Expect strong bidding on this key-date (ls)!
