Description: 384 in MS-65 and 63 higher at PCGS. The 1888-S is an always sought after semi-key date in the Morgan dollar series but rarely do they become available in MS-65 condition. The current example has strong cartwheeling luster on both sides with an absolutely wonderful strike that gives depth to Lady Liberty's portrait. The obverse and reverse both have light golden toning covering the surfaces and only a small scuff mark on Liberty's cheek holds this better date back from higher grades. This coin is destine for a registry quality Morgan dollar set. Good luck bidding (ls)!
