Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1887-S PCGS MS-64+ CACCAC
Lot Number: 573
Description: San Francisco dollars of the era frequently show roller marks, with some incised, parallel lines clearly visible on Liberty's lower jaw. These are part of the normal manufacturing process and do not affect a coin's grade. That being said, PCGS declined the full "Gem" assertion but with such a clean cheek and imperturbable, blistering white eye-appeal, one could see this better date in just such a holder some day. Minor scuffs do appear beneath the point of the chin, but the reverse all by itself grades MS-66 or better. An extremely well struck example.
