Lot Title: Eight toned 1885-O NGC MS-65

Description: The T-Rex Collection. The obverse of four pieces are toned (and their reverses feature fleeting color as well), and we begin with a fully bag toned example that has sea-green and garnet gold blazing across the entire obverse. Yellow-gold with a crescent of magenta and sea-green shows on the second, and a sweep of turquoise, lavender-gold and chartreuse sweeps down and across the third. The last has an up-and-over pattern of sunset gold, garnet, denim and sea-green color. The four pieces with reverse toning might actually be the more attractive grouping overall, as the first example leads off with an extremely appealing infusion of vast sea-green and cyan with splashes of burgundy and garnet. Two similar coins feature vivid, fully realized rainbows of across the upper portion of their reverses. The final coin has steely azure, garnet-gold and crimson sunset-yellow hues sweeping down and upwards to the right in stunning alignment with the eagle's wing. Sensational eight coin lot.
