Description: 210 graded MS-65, 77 higher at PCGS. VAM-6, Top-100 is famous for the 1880/79 overdate, one of the best in the entire series, and the "7" is nearly complete, including the tail, which appears as a faint dash beneath the second "8". Examining the exact center of each side reveals a scant array of incised roller marks that are almost always present for this date, but they are isolated and on balance, it is a well struck silver dollar. Thoroughly gleaming, snow-white surfaces glow with amazing eye-appeal, despite a few surface grazes noticeable upon the frosty cheek.
