Description: The T-Rex Collection. Despite a difference of 20 points in numeric grade (according to NGC), these are scarcely different in appearance overall, suggesting the VF-30 might by slightly undergraded, and the "AU details" slightly over-graded, although such splitting of hairs might have little relevance for this, a key to the silver dollar series. Bone-grey patina endows the "choice VF" example and as just suggested, this coin still retains a smidge of luster on both sides. For the second piece, the cataloger suggests that "obverse damage" is a severe phrase by which to judge the coin, since the disclaimer merely references a few too many reed marks on the cheek, although the vintage patina downplays any potential distraction. The latter coin is certain to be busted out of its prison and relegated to its rightful place in a better album collection. Two coin lot.
