Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1927 PCGS MS-66
Lot Number: 369
Description: Everyone enjoys a parade, and at any major auction, one might expect a small parade of 1927 double-eagles in mint-state, as it is one of the most common, hoarded dates in the series. The bonus, though, is the fact that it's typically a very well produced issue, and fabulous sharpness for the present example illustrates that fact. The capital's dome features distinctly separated windows, and Liberty's face displays a nearly complete nose and upper lip. Of technical merits, one can find scarcely any distraction, as the surface exhibits gorgeous frosty texture and endures only occasional, tiny ticks on the torso.
