Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1914-S PCGS MS-64, and a 1915-S NGC MS-64, both CACCAC
Lot Number: 338
Description: San Francisco examples are both common dates, but offer a nice respite from the usual parade of 1924 and 1927 issues. The 1914-S presents an absolutely sensational strike, with Liberty's face showing about as much detail as can possibly be lifted off the dies, and the eagle's eye has been fully sculpted as well. Terrific pristine luster endows the coin with blast-off visual appeal. Intense sun-gold luster emanates from 1915-S, this coin offering sharpness not quite as perfect as its companion, but notably strong nevertheless. A lazy pinscratch at the upper obverse offers no real distraction. Two coin lot.
