Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1893-CC PCGS MS-63
Lot Number: 230
Description: July Forward Consignment. 15 in MS-63 and only 8 higher at PCGS. Without a doubt this lot's 1893-CC half-eagle is one of the finest surviving examples of the much collected branch mint issue. From an original mintage of just 60,000 coins, the 1893 Carson City five was born scarce, but Mint State examples are downright rare. The current Choice Uncirculated example in a PCGS MS-63 holder is sure to put a smile on any branch mint gold collector's face as it features clean surfaces and a great strike for the assigned grade. Lot inspection is recommended to fully appreciate this museum quality artifact from the wild west (ls).
