Description: 622 in AU-58 and 295 higher at NGC. While the 1861 half-eagle may be the most common for the type, there are only around 1,250 examples that are estimated to have survived in all grades - giving the first statistic more levity. The current AU-58 example has wholesome original surfaces that show only small traces of wear and a few hairlines. Lots of luster will make this a great type coin for some lucky collector (ls).
