Description: M. Diatom Collection. Unexpectedly lustrous for the grade of AU-50, spritely luster dances across either side beneath good illumination and divulges the intermixing of two hues of gold, including the predominant pale hue as well as substantial butternut-gold spreading across the worn areas. A very faint, old pinscratch lurks with in the reverse lower right field but this is grasping for straws when a coin is as nicely and smoothly worn as this type example.
