Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1927 NGC MS-62, 1928 NGC MS-62, and 1929 PCGS MS-62
Lot Number: 178
Description: J. Mainstream Collection. Consecutive dates each garner an MS-62 grade for this Indian quarter-eagle trio. First is 1927 (NGC) and this example depends upon a great strike to extract decent eye-appeal out of the middling luster and modestly abraded surface. 1928 (NGC) features a decent strike, but a fairly prevalent level of abrading, especially across the obverse. Finally, 1929 (PCGS) has some unexpectedly dense cobalt-violet toning splashed across each side, possibly indicative of previously undetected surface contamination. Three coin lot.
