Lot Title: Two 1858 BG-1306 PCGS MS-62

Description: Although neither has been ascribed as such by PCGS, these may be remnants of the Herman Kroll hoard (circa 1910), from which most examples seem to have graded more or less the same -- MS-62. The obverse die was reused from prior strikings of BG-428. Both pieces are typically indistinct on the obverse, but somewhat reflective throughout, expressing the usual, prevalent die-polish hairlines. Two coin lot.
