Description: BG-414, R.5. Few designs from the "fractional gold" series feature the high-elevation sculpting seen for BG-414, which incorporates a reasonably accurate rendition of Liberty's portrait, modeled off of the contemporary Federal gold dollars. The reverse features a spindly wreath, with obverse and reverse struck more or less in medallic alignment, and it is also this side, for this particular coin, which displays hairlining that likely determines the grade. Brassy splashes on either side include violet and magenta accents.
