Description: Blazing white commemorative half-dollars celebrate Civil War events in ripe fashion, since they both look like blatant "Gems" upon first glance, thus making them easy on the eyes, and easy to appreciate. Gettysburg features marvelous white brilliance and strong luster as expected, but just enough minor ticks and abrasions scatter throughout as to limit the grade. Antietam actually seems to suffer less surface contact than its companion, and this coin could conceivably upgrade in the future, given it's terrific luster and pure white appearance. Two coin lot.
