Description: This is an open face pocket watch with a 23 jewel movement, 16 size. The movement is marked “Veritas Elgin, ILL U.S.A”. It is serial # 15569108. It has a really nice and clean movement. The back lid identifies the case as 14K by marking it “Warranted 14K To Assay”. Below that is “B.W.C. Co.”. On the outside of the back lid is very elaborate initials of “FMN”. The face and crystal are clean and the lettering on the face is crisp and sharp. This watch sets, winds and runs fine. 52.7 dwt.
