Lot Title: 1893 Isabella quarter AU-53, plus a 1937 Antietam MS-66, both PCGS
Lot Number: 991
Description: Young Thomas Consignment. Remarkably potent luster emanates from the Isabella quarter, and this would be suggestive of a slightly higher grade if not for the presence of a couple of linear blemishes on either side. Clearly, the belle of this ball is the Antietam graded MS-66, as this flawless "very-gem" example exudes original beige-grey presence, along with a great strike. A pair of ticks near the top of both portraits probably delimit the grade, but certainly not the eye-appeal. Quite a bit to like about this two coin lot.
Estimate: $725-$900

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
