Description: Bert Davies Collection. Collector appeal: Surprisingly little color has seized hold of the coins for the 1947 mint set, although they all obviously possess strong quality. Basically, each has outstanding, vintage patina and considerable eye appeal. Coins for the 1949 set are starting to attain a bit of colorful patina, with some steamy lavender-grey beginning to form for many silver pieces. By far, the coins for the 1958 mint set possess the strongest claims on color, as the classic, lovely chartreuse-gold, lavender-blue, ruby and greenish grey hues have taken control of a number of pieces. All sets come within their original, albeit well-worn packaging.
