Description: Nearly extraordinary, velvety purple-orange and melon coloration flows over the obverse of the 1936-D Arkansas, while the reverse abruptly offers only shimmering white presence. Some faint doubling at HALF DOLLAR / 1936 on the reverse suggests a minor doubled die. The surface of 1926-S Oregon has mostly the vibrancy of liquid mercury, interrupted by flashes of ebony-purple on the obverse and indigo on the reverse. Two coin lot.
