Description: Zodiac Consignment. 2 graded MS-63, 5 higher at PCGS. About half as many "no arrows" examples were struck by comparison to the more common "with arrows", and neither issue saw a high mintage to begin with, but the present "no arrows" carries a substantial premium in mint-state grades owing to its extreme scarcity above the "choice" level. Potent, wide-band luster illuminates the fields for this relatively well-preserved example, fluttering beneath a distinctive layer of chartreuse-almond toning that strongly emulates a fully original surface. Given the pleasing frosty texture, the tone helps de-emphasize a few notable abrasions, including a couple of gentle scuffs near the bottom of the obverse right field.
