Description: 1877/77-CC. 41 graded MS-65, 29 higher at PCGS. Repunching of the final two digits can easily be seen with low magnification, and additional observation will find needle-sharp details overall. Some modest die rust helps to explain the lack of perfect sharpness at Liberty's head and bust, yet this does not diminish the blazing strike and luster in any way. The frosted surface has succumbed to some very attractive copper-gold toward the rims, and a subtle, iridescent coppery layer of patina overall.
