Description: Browning-4 (R.3) requires a few pickup points for reliable attribution, including star 1 set closer to the dentils than the bust, and on the reverse, the end of the olive branch is centered above the "C" of the denomination. The die-marriage occasionally shows up represented by prooflike examples, and while that is obviously not the case here, the fields still display somewhat more "flash" than should be expected of an XF-40 example. A single small mark in the obverse right field seems to be the only contact point for this almond-grey specimen.
