Description: Bert Davies Collection. Gem quality and magnificent color aptly describe all five of these PCGS certified Jefferson nickels. This lot includes a 1938-D MS-65, 1942-D MS-64 FS, 1947-D MS-66+, 1947-S MS-65, and a 1949-D MS-65. Based on the consistency and pattern of the color clinging to the surfaces of these coins it is reasonable to believe these were “cherry picked” from an album collection of yesteryear (ck).
