Description: 243 graded MS-64, 105 higher at PCGS. Despite a slightly low-relief strike, a full horn shows boldly. Elevation of grade from MS-63 to MS-64 means the collector should expect a bison nickel to have very few disturbances, nice luster, and pleasing color. Expectations become satisfied, as this somewhat difficult, earlier mintmarked issue layers gorgeous pearl-grey atop a smooth, lustrous surface with only a very few tiny carbon ticks.
