Description: The Quantum Collection. Sheldon-167 is named the "whisker variety" and can easily be recognized by the tiny die lump clinging to the bottom of Liberty's chin. Evidently, this is an example of the true "prime die state", with zero die cracks on either side, not even through "8" nor at the "E" of STATES. The surface exhibits very dark ebony-brown patina, glossy and evidently applied after the surface was gently and professionally smoothed. The result is a coin of excellent eye-appeal for the grade, with bold details that are easy to appreciate without distraction.
