Lot Title: Fourteen different half-cents in a Wayte Raymond page
Lot Number: 607
Description: The Quantum Collection. Collector appeal: "A". In their heyday, the Wayte-Raymond boards kept things simple - dates only, with no varieties required for this half-cent and 2-cent board (of which, no 2-cent pieces are present). As seems to be the prevailing case for this consignor's fine items, quality was important, and the cataloger can find no faults worth individual mention, within the VF to AU/UNC range. Dates include 1806, 1808, 1809, 1826, 1828, 1829, 1832, 1833, 1834, 1835, 1849, 1853, 1854, and 1856. Any of the latter four pieces might qualify for a commercial mint-state grade within this fourteen coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
