Description: VAM-2 can be instantly identified by the far right placement of "CC" that has the first "C" nearly centered beneath the bow knot. The variety has a special place in the hearts of Carson City collectors since a dozen branch-mint proofs were struck off the dies, although obviously, at the grade of VF-30, there will be no evidence of special die preparation for this example. Indeed, this is a supremely original and moderately worn silver dollar that features smooth, honorable wear and gorgeous medium-grey patina.
