Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1881-S PCGS MS-65 CAC, 1881-S NGC MS-66, and an 1887 NGC MS-66
Lot Number: 453
Description: Collector Appeal: "super and super common". Rare dates avoid this trio like the plague, but as high-grade dollars, each is a beautiful white example. 1881-S in MS-65 gets a thin but vivid rainbow sliver along the lower left, while 1881-S in MS-66 features a borderline prooflike strike and amazingly complete details. 1887 is surprisingly flashy for the date and would easily be mistaken as yet another 1881-S based on silvery aesthetics alone. Three coin lot.
