Description: Collector Appeal: "undistinguished". At least this pair is of an earlier date in the series, not seen nearly as often as the common hoard examples of the late 19th century. The XF-40 example retains flashes in the fields suggesting it may have been semi-prooflike when struck, while the AU-50 example has normal frosty luster and an excellent strike. Two coin lot.
