Description: Shawl Consignment. 12 graded MS-63, 19 higher at NGC. Terrific definition everywhere except for limited portions of the juncture of the eagle's right (observed) wing are a hallmark of this specimen. It is an outstanding example of a very difficult branch-mint date coming toward the end of the Barber half-dollar series. Spangling bands of luster practically bounce off the surface, endowed with mostly white brilliance, but very nice turquoise-gold and cinnamon-jade toning daubs the surface in isolated areas.
